My boyfriend (now fiancé) proposed to me this past September during a romantic getaway in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico where we were celebrating our 5 year anniversary. The proposal was very storybook-esque. We were on the beach at night after finishing a romantic dinner overlooking the ocean. As we were strolling hand in hand, he suddenly got down on one knee, said the most romantic words that had ever come out of his mouth and opened up a small box with a gorgeous ring as he asked for my hand. **Sigh** It gives me goose bumps just thinking about it!
So we’re back in Frederick and we, or should I say, I have started planning our wedding. We have chosen September 6, 2008 for our wedding date. We wanted it to be the first Saturday in September for a special reason. Our “dating” anniversary was on September 2nd, and he proposed on September 5th, so we wanted to get married the first week of September as it is a sentimentally important time of year for us. I can’t wait!
